Celebrity Blog Tourney

WELL... Its been pretty amazing the past couple of weeks...once again, i've gotten to do some things i've never really done before...I did some shows at big events in some different cities... most of these events were celebrity Golf outings where they do an opening night with entertainment...and I just happened to be the entertainment... i guess i'm a good fit... people think of me as a "sports comedian"... mostly because of the john madman impression and my spot on fox nfl sunday... most people who have seen my show can tell you... that there's maybe about 10 percent about actual sports and that's including the madden stuff, which isn't even really sports when you break it down.

anyway, it was really amazing to look out into the crowd and see people like joe theisman, mark rypien, vince coleman, ben rothlesberger, dan marino, mario lemieaux, digger phelps and other famous people laughing and having fun with my silliness... there were many others whose names i also could have misspelled and let you know about. (i think i spelled vince coleman correctly, at least)...

maybe that's how i'll retire...i'll become the king of the celebrity golf outings... i can only do a few things per year like that... but these were all a blast... (www.mariolemieux.org , www.moyerfoundation.org, and the roger marris foundation ). lots of very nice people... and amazing experiences...

luckily, i wasn't stuck on the tarmac for any of these dates...and i got to everything on time... ha.

here's a little other news... it was announced that i'm headlining gator growl this year... (the worlds largest student run pep ralley in gainsville, florida)... so that's going to be great as well.

look for the fox promos to start soon... and i'll talk at ya'all later. ("ya'all" is southern for "you" -- i'm working on my blue collar type of comedy, i guess).
